The property, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms connects to two of the bedrooms. The other bathroom is located near the master bedroom. This space is quite large and can fit 8 people comfortably. There is also a sofa bed in the living room area. Recently renovated, this space is the "flagship" of the Casa Melaza listing, boasting its own backyard space with sun loungers a BBQ & a custom Mural by local artist "DeLaMente"; this space also brandishes a very large kitchen with 3 separate work/prep areas for you to impress your friends/family/lovers with your culinary abilities. Not feeling like Remi from Ratatouille? You're in luck, Loiza street is chock full of local restaurants/bars/ and dive style restaurants where you can walk in grab a bite and move on to the next place!

I came to Roly’s for my first trip to PR with 5 friends. We had an amazing time and truly enjoyed the apartment. We used the beautiful backyard daily and enjoyed our 10 minute walk to the beach. There are so many great things in the area to do, but also cozy and comfortable things at the stay. We cannot say thank you enough and cannot overstate what a great host Roly was.
We loved this place! It was clean, spacious and local
Overall, I would give this stay 5 stars! The house was very clean, the host was extremely responsive, and the location was convenient to restaurants and stores. A few things worth mentioning for future guests: We could hear a neighbor’s TV playing loudly every morning throughout our stay. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for us, but it could be bothersome for others. Parking was also challenging, as we rarely found a spot directly in front of the Airbnb and often had to park several blocks away. Lastly, the dryer handle was missing, making the washer and dryer unusable. Despite these inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness and hospitality!
Great location. Super close to the beach bars & restaurants. Perfect for our group of 6. Parking situation and bad pillows made this place a 4/5 for us. The electricity did go out due to an explosion of a power line ( somewhere else in the city of San Juan) we knew about no back up for that but since they also didn’t have candles or battery lamps we had to walk to Walgreens which is conveniently 3 mins away. Power did come back 3 hours later that night. Almost forgot to mention the outdoor shower, beach cooler & cabinet with random extra stuff like sun screen + the outdoor patio were awesome extra touches. Make sure you bring bug spray!!!
Good place to stay in you are exploring San Juan and its surrounding areas and want to get a true local feel for the place.
Roly was an amazing host— very responsive and friendly. The place itself was amazing, we loved the layout. It was me and my friend and we didn’t need to share a bathroom, the kitchen and dining is spacious. Very clean. Loved the area, easy to walk to Calle Loíza. We booked this bnb last minute after a nightmare booking with the original bnb we had booked for our stay. This was cheap, and thankfully available to check into the next day. Overall, an amazing place to stay with friends and if you have only two people it has an extra room for a guest.
