Calle Loíza is a street and commercial corridor in the Santurce district of San Juan, running east-west through the eastern part of the city. It stretches between the tourist hubs of Condado and Isla Verde, and its name comes from its historical role as the connection between San Juan and the town of Loíza to the east, before highways existed. The strip runs roughly parallel to the coast, a few blocks inland from Ocean Park beach.

Historically it was the neighborhood's "Main Street," the heart of a working-class commercial district and a social hub for Dominican immigrants. That working-class, immigrant character still shapes the area, though it has shifted significantly over the past decade. Fodor's

The defining feature now is its food and nightlife density. The main street is packed with restaurants, bars, clubs, coffee shops, and boutiques. The dining range is broad, spanning Puerto Rican criollo spots, Roman-Italian, Mexican taquerías, Asian-Puerto Rican fusion, BBQ stands, vegetarian spots, and third-wave coffee shops. It draws a heavy foodie and brunch crowd, with meal times being the busiest.

It was an amazing experience living there. The place was very conviniently located and extremely beautiful, exactly as advertised in the photos. The Mexican restaurant across the street has some great food as well for anyone staying in the future.

Todo bien solo que el problema fue que no hay parqueadero cerca debes de buscarlo y hubo días que nos quedaba lejos

This place is absolutely incredible! It’s incredibly close to everything. It’s just five minutes to Ocean Park Beach and five minutes to the excellent location. It’s a real bargain and I can’t wait to return. It’s truly local Calle Cerra Calle Loíza, right near Old San Juan and close to the airport. It’s simply perfect.
